I have a 88 9000T . while driving to work today my turbo boost guage
became stuck in the bottom of the middle arce, doesn’t go down when
engine is turned off or up when you accelerate. I believe I am still
getting boost from the turbo but it may not be 100 %. Any qlues ? Thanks

Trace the vacuum line from the gauge, or look for a disconnected vacuum line
in the engine compartment. Mine popped off once.
You do get less power, because you have a significant vacuum leak screwing
with the fuel metering…

You’ve got a vacuum leak. Best bet it to start the engine,
pop the hood, and look around. Most likely place to look
is your turbo bypass valve, which located just above and
to the right of the turbo. One you’ve found the little
black cylinder, check the vacuum hose coming out of it
for vacuum. Follow it back towards the firewall, and you’ll
see one or two "T" intersections, where several vacuum hoses
meet. Chances are one of these is broken…
