Hello everyone,
This morning I had a strange problem with my 83 900 GLi. While waiting at
the traffic lights the car all of a sudden died. I pushed him aside and
after a while (and pushing and re-attaching every seemed to be loose wire)
it started again. My starter engine allways worked but it didn’t seem to
get fuel.
Any ideas please ?

Johan,
same happend to me with a ’82 900t several years ago. I slammed the
door and was unable to start the car some minutes later. The starter
engine works, ignition works, but no fuel. I found out that I have to
check the two big connectors under the cover on the left side (above
the clutch pedal). They were loose due to vibrations. With a thicker
needle I modified each connector (and there are many!) in a way that
they are much tighter after that. Never had any problems after that.
Later a SAAB freak told me, that this was common to early 900 models.
