Does anyone know how to change the foglight on ’97 900 series
(convertible if it makes a difference)?
I told my mom I would change her foglight, and now I realize it is not a
terribly intuitive task (as far as I can tell). The dealer said I
needed to "drop the pan" if this makes sense to anybody.
Any pointers would be appreciated…
TIA,
John
I cannot help directly, because I have never done it, I had the dealer
do it. They told me they had to put it on the rack and remove the
entire air dam assembly from underneth.
I have latter been told you can remove the turn signal (read the manual
on this) and reach down and remove the bulb. Except I tried that and
was unable to remove the holder. Maybe there is a trick to it.
Hope that helps.

Hmmm… thanks for the help… I might bite the bullet and take it to the
.
dealer and pay the $48 they want to do it… I tried a similar procedure on my
BMW M3 and ended up breaking a $35 part, and then having to install that as
well
Thanks very much for the help.
