Need Shop manual for '86 9000 turbo

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:25 am

I like to do my own work, and I did pretty welll with my
’79 900 GLE and a Haynes manual. Now I have an ’86 9000 turbo, but no one
makes a shop manual. My mechanic mentioned there might be some place online
where I could find one. anyclues?

                              TIA!

Saab 9-3 SE High Output Turbo

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:25 am

I was ready to lease a 9-3 SE automatic when I got an email from Saab
announcing the mid-year upgrade to a high output turbo engine.  This is
a 200 HP engine that will be standart on the 9-3 SE model.  They are
also adding another cup holder and a driver side arm rest!  Does anyone
know if the high output turbo is available in an automatic?  Saab
customer service says yes while my dealer say he is sure that it is only
offered in the manual 5 speed.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

'89 9000s blower motor question

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:24 am

I am about to pick up an ’89 9000s for a very good price.  The blower
motor does not work however and I am told that it is not a very
difficult repair in that it can be accessed from the engine compartment
although I haven’t checked it out.
How difficult is the repair nand what are the good sources for buying
discount or used parts.
Thanks,
dave

9-5 front winshield and glare

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:58 pm

Hi,

Does anyone have a problem with the glare reflected from the front
instrument panel’s top surface (where they installed three speakers) onto the
front windshield? Sometimes I have to "fight" my eyes to see through during
daytime. Is it because the surface is too deep (big) ?
